Visual Discrimination Activities
$15.00
In this pack of 8 visual discrimination activities, children will have the opportunity to
develop their skills as they begin to compare and contrast similarities and differences in
these 8 Australian animal activities.
These activities are the beginning of identifying the differences and paying attention to
detail. This will help young children in preschool and kindergarten to develop strong
visual discrimination skills and will lead to children being able to use these visual skills to
begin to identify letters and numbers.
To incorporate Indigenous language into these lessons you could use the language word
for each of the animals, and in some of the activity worksheets where body parts of the
animal are missing, you could use the language word for the body part. You could also
discuss the environment where these animals live. This will bring a land and connection
to Country perspective into the lesson.
