These writing prompt cards make a wonderful guided reading or writing centre activity. Could be modelled to the whole class then students could choose one and write independently. This pack comes with 12 Australian animals so the use of Indigenous languages for each of the animals could be incorporated into their writing. Lots of the prompt words beside the animals can also be translated into your local Indigenous language and used in their writing. The Language words can be added to the blank template with the animal and laminated to the back of the English prompt card in same order of the English written words. These cards will help students write about their experiences out on Country or could even used to prompt classroom discussions.
