This beautifully designed classroom birthday chart is based around Australian animals. Each month features a different animal (e.g. July is a Koala, and the birthday tags are also Koalas). If you would like to add an Indigenous perspective, why not add your local indigenous language word for each of the animals. This would be a great opportunity for children to see the local language in action.
