Bring Aboriginal pedagogy to life in your planning and teaching with the TIPIAC 8 Ways Stamp Kit.

This exclusive kit has been designed to help educators make the 8 Ways pedagogy visible in classrooms, staffrooms, and planning documents.

The 8 Ways Pedagogy was developed by Aboriginal academic and author Tyson Yunkaporta, through consultation and collaboration with communities across western NSW. This framework highlights Aboriginal ways of learning that strengthen outcomes for all students, while providing teachers with practical pathways for embedding Aboriginal pedagogy.

This kit has been designed and written by proud Gamilaraay women. The stamps were created by TIPIAC, and the accompanying booklet was written by Bonnie Cochrane, founder of TIPIAC and long-time Aboriginal educator.

By purchasing this resource, you are directly supporting an Aboriginal-owned business and Aboriginal women-led design and education. Every kit contributes to the continuation of cultural knowledge, the amplification of Aboriginal voices in education, and the strengthening of respectful, authentic practice in classrooms.

Each kit includes:

  • 8 custom-designed stamps: one for each of the 8 Ways (Story Sharing, Learning Maps, Non-verbal, Symbols and Images, Land Links, Non-linear, Deconstruct–Reconstruct, Community Links)
  • A practical “How-To” booklet: background information on each pedagogy, examples of what it looks like in EYLF, Primary, and Secondary classrooms, plus tips for inclusive practice
  • Access to a 30-minute online introduction video: guided by Bonnie Cochrane, proud Gamilaraay woman and educator, showing how teachers are already linking to Aboriginal pedagogy in their programs
  • Beautifully packaged kit: ready for your classroom or as the perfect professional gift for a colleague

The stamps make Aboriginal pedagogy visible and tangible. Use them in lesson plans, unit outlines, or student work samples to demonstrate how you’re embedding 8 Ways across the curriculum.
