This geography unit is titled ‘Exploring Our Country’. In this unit, students will explore our beautiful country Australia and research and explore a special Indigenous site in each state and territory. Each week students will have the opportunity to learn about a significant Indigenous site. Over the course of the term, students will cover 8 significant sites around Australia and will spend the last two week working on researching and presenting information on their choice of a scared or significant Indigenous site around Australia. They will then present their findings and work to the class in the last week of the term.
